Jussi, Sales

Jussi has been part of the great F9 team since August 2015. Over the years, Jussi has moved to various positions and since 2023 he has worked in his current role as Account Director.

Jussi became interested in applying for a job at F9 after being recommended by old colleagues. They had moved to work at F9 and conveyed a positive image of the company to him:

"Of course, there were a lot of familiar faces here and I was interested in such a growing company to join, and then I decided to apply."

Jussi sees F9's values as an important core for the entire work community. According to him, values guide what is done, tell what is expected and create the basis for a shared culture. Values are not just words, but a concrete tool in the everyday lives of both employees and supervisors.

For Jussi, the importance of a top team is particularly emphasized in F9's customer service. According to him, it is easy to do your own work and to represent the company proudly, when there is a competent and flexible team working in the background. Trust is created when things are taken care of, and that is what builds a strong foundation for customer relationships:

"It is easy for me to represent the company when I can tell you that our company has a top team behind it that handles things professionally and flexibly. At that time, trust in what we do grows and trust is the basis of everything when working with customers."

Jussi says that the values do not remain at the level of words, but are visible in everyday life, especially in the development of customer cooperation. When a customer has a need for which there is no ready-made solution, we don't just say no, we get to work and develop something new together:

"Together with the customer, we have come up with ideas for services that F9 has never produced before. Faced with such a challenge, we have not said no to the customer, but together with F9's service team, we have found a solution for the customer and developed a service to meet the customer's needs."

For Jussi, the most important value is driving change. Continuous development and the ability to respond to customer needs are key. The change is not a coincidence, but the result of active listening and courageous taking action:

"We are driving a change. Our constant listening to customer needs, adapting to the market and continuous development keep us on track."

Toni, Product marketing

Toni has been working as a product manager at F9 since April 2018. A familiar face from F9 reached out Toni and tipped him off that the product manager position was open:

“He hinted at an open position and suggested that I submit an application and see how it goes. That’s how it went.”

One of F9’s values, a top team, is something that Toni experiences daily:

“The values are best seen in the team’s everyday life through support, respect, and open communication.”

Toni’s work emphasizes straightforwardness and agility in particular. Things don’t have to be circulated through multiple levels, but are handled directly with the right people. This enables a quick response to both challenges and new developments:

"Things are taken care of quickly and directly with the person or team can help or move things forward. Whether it's solving a problem or implementing something new, it's all about streamlined action."

In Toni's opinion, the F9 values are clearly visible in problem-solving situations. Toni was faced with a task that had not been completed before. Instead of spending a long time figuring out the issue, he took it up right away with a colleague:

"I talked to a colleague about how this could work and then we both started doing it. I would have thought about it and done it for days on my own, and by working together, I managed to get it all the way to the end in hours."

For Toni, the most important value is clear: reliability. It guides everything we do, both towards our customers, principals and end customers. High-quality and reliable service is what the entire operation is built on:

"What I or we as a company pass on is reliability. We are able to offer the best and highest quality service in the industry to all our customers and their end customers. Reliability and quality are the most important and many things are crystallized under it."

Sari, Sales

Sari has been part of F9's B2B sales team since the company was founded, and before that, Sari has worked in similar positions elsewhere.

According to Sari, F9's values are concretely visible in everyday life in how work is actively developed, not only to streamline one's own work, but above all for the benefit of customers. Change is made boldly and practically:

"We genuinely want to develop the company's operations and tools to streamline our own work and especially to help our customers, so that our cooperation works smoothly and as easily as possible."

For Sari, accountability and a proactive attitude are strongly emphasized in her work, not only within her own role but also beyond it. She takes initiative across team boundaries and contributes wherever needed. Reliability is reflected in the way commitments are honored and action is taken immediately when something requires attention.

"I try to do my part as well as possible to finish the things I have started. Conscientiousness creates trust in every direction."

In Sari's opinion, a concrete example of the values is seen in the way the company has invested in various certificates. Not just because of obligations, but because we want to develop our operations responsibly and in the long term:

"We have invested in various certificates in our company that are important to us. It reflects that we want to develop this company and keep it on a good course."

Sari describes the company's operating method as agile and streamlined. The flat organization enables things to be moved forward quickly and directly. No unnecessary steps or formalities are needed:

"Flexibility in our operations, so that we are not a slow-moving ship, but can quickly turn around in different situations. Thanks to our flat structure, we can call anyone and anytime, and there is no need to be stressed out unnecessarily."

It has always been clear to Sari that every customer deserves the same good and high-quality service, whether it is a large or small company. The needs of large customers can sometimes require special arrangements, but this does not take away from the attention of smaller customers:

"It has always been important to me that every customer is valuable to us, whether small or large. Large customers may have some agreed special things that we do for them, but those small customers are just as important to us, and all customers deserve excellent service."

At the end of the interview, Sari summarizes her thoughts briefly and emphatically. Values, atmosphere and team spirit are visible in everyday life as well as in attitude and it is transmitted outwardly:

"I will definitely support this on behalf of our company and I am happy that I can work in a company with a good spirit."

Karoliina, Sales

Karoliina has been part of F9's retail sales since 2022.

Karoliina's friend worked at F9 and recommended it as a great place to work. Karoliina then decided to apply:

"I applied on the recommendation of a friend who had worked here for a long time and I got good recommendations."

What is very important to Karoliina is the freedom to take on things on your own initiative and trust that things will get done. Karoliina has developed an open and good relationship with her customers, and working together is strongly reflected in her everyday life:

"I feel confident taking initiative at work and actively finding solutions on my own. Communication with customers is very open. Colleagues and managers can trust that things will be handled properly. We always stick to what has been agreed."

According to Karoliina, the values are strongly reflected in everyday cooperation between teams. She describes the culture as flexible and solution-oriented. The team spirit is reflected above all in the fact that support is always available:

"I can definitely ask for help if needed. We stand behind the team and together we find a solution and help others."

Karoliina's work strongly emphasizes reliability and activity. What we do is guided by the idea that nothing is left undone. We take action immediately and things are systematically completed:

"We don’t leave anything unfinished; we make sure everything gets done. The mindset is that all emails and tickets should be handled every day. If something is pending with someone else, we try to remind them."

According to Karoliina, proactivity towards customers is a key part of what we do:

"We are proactive towards customers, often coming up with solutions and changes even before they have said or realized it themselves."

F9's values of planning and a top team are, in Karoliina's opinion, concretely emphasized in large projects where success requires seamless cooperation between several teams:

"If there is a larger batch that needs to be delivered, the teams discuss how everything will be done in the planning phase. A lot is needed from the transport team, the warehouse and product marketing, so that when those large goods or batches are sent out, they are well planned so that there are no problems."

For Karoliina, the most important value is reliability, especially the trust and support within the team. In everyday work, this is strongly reflected in the fact that everyone can trust that things will be done even when they are away. The team takes care of each other, and that's what makes the work meaningful:

"Reliability was the first thing that came to mind. The support of the team and the fact that they stand behind you and help you, and even if you're away, you know that your customers are being taken care of and you can trust them. They're the people who make this place work."
